WHAT ARE MICROBLADING AND MICROSHADING?

Digital Microblading, also known by a variety of names such as nano brows or machine made brows is a form of semi-permanent makeup that provides a means to partially or fully camouflage missing eyebrow hair with the appearance of simulated hair. Using fine tattoo needles deposits of cosmetic tattoo pigments in fine hair like ‘strokes’ that mimic the natural hair pattern. Microshading, also done with a machine, fills the space between the hair strokes with pigment. This creates flattering shadows and contouring of the brow. The use of both techiques is commonly referred to as a “combo brow”. Powder Brows use the microshading only. All techniques implant the pigment in the dermal layer.

Ideally 12-24 months. The longevity of your service will depend on factors such as: good aftercare while healing, having a touch up in the desired time frame of 6 weeks after the initial session, if you engage in frequent heavy sweaty workouts, sun exposure and the use of products on the skin such as retinols or other exfoliants. Oily skin types may shed pigment faster. Daily SPF is strongly recommend to prolong the life of your pigment.

There is some mild discomfort, but it is tolerable. I do use topical anesthetic (Lidocaine) for numbing before the procedure and again during the service for your comfort.

Pregnancy, auto immune diseases and who are susceptible to infections should not have this service. Please see the medical questionnaire under the Discover tab for a for list.
